Mid-year cruises are all about the brotherhood and the love for old school VW machines. Tony and Sue’s Run in June was a fantastic reminder of why we do what we do. Even with a bit of a winter chill in the air, the Wild Buggers turned out in force to support our own and enjoy the open road. From the morning meet-up to the final destination, this album shows the dedication of our members and the variety of Beach Buggy and VW Beetle builds in our club. It was a “lekker” day spent catching up and keeping the air-cooled spirit alive. Take a look at the photos and get your ride prepped for Zara’s Run on the 25th of January!
Even a bit of rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of the Wild Buggers! Here we are at our Bothasig meeting spot, moments after the heavens cleared, with Tony already spinning a yarn and getting everyone’s attention before Tony & Sue’s Adventure truly kicked off. Our Beach Buggies were glistening, ready for the road!Cruising along on Tony & Sue’s Adventure, Anton and Mickey in their awesome Baja Bug spotted Tony leading the pack in his trusty VW air-cooled Kombi! Of course, a moment like that had to be captured. After cruising in our old school VW vehicles, it was awesome to kick back indoors, enjoy some warm drinks, and catch up with our VW family.
