Lights, Engines, Action! The Wild Buggers Annual Lights For Life Run is HERE!

Whether you roll in a classic VW Beetle, a vintage Kombi, a cool Beach Buggy, a rare Karmann Ghia, awesome Trike, a Baja Bug, or any unique, special, or out-of-the-box ride—if you love classic cars, this event is for YOU.

Hey, VW Family! It’s time to fire up those engines and deck out your ride! This year, we’re taking over the streets and turning them into a massive rolling light show. If you’ve got a VW Bug or any air-cooled VW vehicle, you’re part of the crew. Let’s make this the biggest convoy of awesome Beach Buggies and Old School VWs Cape Town has ever seen!

The Details: Show Up and Shine

• When: Saturday, November 29th, 2025
• Where: We’ll meet up at Food Lovers Market N1 City at 7:00 PM and roll out at 7:30 PM sharp!
• The Vibe: We’re going to cruise through the city, spreading some serious holiday cheer. Our route will take us all the way to Camps Bay and Green Point.
• The Plan: We’ll park off at Green Point for an hour so everyone can hang out, check out the rides, and share some laughs. After that, the run continues for those who want to keep the good times rolling. We’ll head on to Bloubergstrand for a final scenic drive. If you’d rather wrap things up in Green Point, no worries—you’re free to stay as long as you like.

The Cause: Supporting Pigcasso’s Crew (Totally Optional!)

This year, we’re proud to be raising awareness for Farm Sanctuary SA—the home of the late, great Pigcasso and all her talented farmyard friends! It’s a truly generous effort by The Wild Buggers Beach Buggy Club to shine a light on their rescue work.

We will have the Sanctuary’s banking details available soon. Please note: Any donation is entirely optional! Our main goal is simple: to get as many VW classics and Beach Buggies together for an epic night of fun!
