Love and Air-Cooled Engines: Valentine’s Day Run 2025
Love was definitely in the air—and the tyres—for the Wild Buggers Valentine’s Day Run! There is no better way to celebrate than with a scenic drive in a classic VW followed by a “lekker” breakfast with the club. This gallery showcases our fleet of Beach Buggies, Baja Bugs, and VW Beetles cruising through the beautiful Western Cape landscape. Whether you’re a long-time member or a newcomer, our runs are all about the passion for air-cooled VWs and the great company that comes with them. Check out the photos of our romantic road trip and mark your calendars for Zara’s Run on 25 January!

Same buggies, different angle! Here’s another look at Anton Kleyn’s “Shrek” (that green Kango with the Nissan heart), Garry Fleming’s “Emoji” (pink Beamish, 1600 VW air-cooled Beetle power), and Wiehann’s yellow Beamish (also rocking a 1600 VW air-cooled Beetle engine).
