We don’t just hand our official club colours to anyone. To maintain the genuine spirit of our air-cooled family, the large embroidered back patch must be earned through dedication and road time.

How to Earn Your Back Patch

To qualify for the official back patch, you have to get your ride out of the garage, hit the open road, and join us for a few of our legendary monthly club runs.

  1. Get Your Ride Road-Ready: Whether you run a classic air-cooled VW Beetle, a custom Baja Bug, or a water-cooled Nissan-powered Beach Buggy, the journey starts with a running engine.
  2. Join the Convoy: Come along to our monthly regional runs. Meet the members, enjoy the coastal drives, and share in the fun.
  3. Earn the Patch: Once you are a familiar face on our runs and have shown your dedication to the VW family, you earn the right to wear the club Colours with pride.
